The Pollard Prize is awarded annually for the best paper presented at an IHR seminar by a postgraduate student or by a researcher within one year of completing the PhD. This year’s closing date is 27 May. First prize is publication of the winning article in the prestigious IHR journal, Historical Research, and £200 worth of Wiley-Blackwell books.
